AEPONYX, founded in 2012, is a Canadian developer of photonic integrated circuits (PICs) with its R&D team in Montreal, Quebec. Pasqal announced its acquisition on 3 June 2025 to use AEPONYX's PICs to generate and control the light fields that trap and entangle the neutral atoms used as qubits.
