HQS Quantum Simulations, a 2017 spin-off of the Karlsruhe Institute of Technology, develops software for quantum computers that predicts material properties for the chemical industry and academia. Its Series A of more than EUR 12 million (including research funding) was led by Quantonation in January 2022.
