Technology
Oxford Ionics, founded in 2019 and based at Oxford's Begbroke Science Park, develops trapped-ion quantum computing technology. It raised a GBP 30M Series A in January 2023 led by Oxford Science Enterprises and Braavos Investment Advisers, and IonQ completed its acquisition in September 2025.
