CDL Quantum Stream is the world's first and largest quantum-focused accelerator, launched in 2017 at the University of Toronto's Rotman School of Management. It runs an objectives-based, 10-month cohort across CDL-Toronto, CDL-Montreal, CDL-Oxford, and CDL-Paris, pairing founders with serial entrepreneur and VC mentors every eight weeks. CDL is a non-profit and takes no equity, but its mentor network and quantum-specialist partners (from Xanadu, Multiverse Computing, IBM, Google, and Microsoft) make it a deeply sought-after signal for downstream investors. Alumni ventures have collectively raised over CAD 825M, and CDL graduates are estimated to represent roughly one-fifth of quantum startups globally.
