Plateforme d'investissement transatlantique indépendante (ex-AXA Venture Partners, fondée en 2016) : MBO finalisé en avril 2025 et rebaptisée Atlantic Vantage Point, AXA restant LP de référence.

Plus de 2,5 Md€ d'actifs sous gestion répartis sur quatre stratégies (Venture, Early Growth, Growth, Fund of Funds) depuis Paris, Londres et New York, avec un Growth Fund I de 1,5 Md€ ancré par AXA et l'EIF.

Le quantique est entré dans la thèse par conviction deep tech : co-lead du Series B de 100 M€ d'Alice & Bob (janvier 2025) aux côtés de Future French Champions et Bpifrance, et amorçage du spécialiste de cryptographie post-quantique CryptoNext Security en 2023.

François Robinet, Managing Partner, est lead partner des deux positions quantiques et défend l'idée d'un quantique qui sort de la pure R&D pour entrer dans une phase industrielle aux cas d'usage réels.

Anti-thèse

Les schémas qui déclenchent un non rapide avec ce fonds.

  1. Quantum remains a two-position pocket (Alice & Bob, CryptoNext) inside a generalist software/fintech/health portfolio; there is no dedicated quantum fund or stated quantum allocation
  2. Both quantum deals sit in the Venture strategy with the smallest checks (EUR 1-10M entry range); the EUR 1.5B Growth Fund I targets revenue-generating scale-ups (over EUR 40M revenue), a bar no quantum hardware company meets today
  3. Post-MBO (April 2025), AVP answers to third-party LPs including the EIF on fund economics: a long-dated quantum hardware bet must clear conventional return hurdles, not strategic-insurer logic
  4. The AXA strategic angle is diluted: AXA is now one anchor LP among others, so 'insurance use case' arguments carry less weight than before the spin-out
  5. François Robinet is the single visible quantum champion; key-person risk on the thesis if his attention shifts to the Growth platform buildout
