Entrada Ventures is a Santa Barbara generalist seed firm (Fund I US $20M, 2019; Fund II filed at up to US $100M, 2022) run by exited Central Coast operators. Its stated themes include next-gen computing hardware and software for AI and quantum. Quantum exposure is real but narrow: it co-led Kipu Quantum's EUR 3M pre-seed in September 2022, followed in the EUR 10.5M seed led by HV Capital and DTCF in December 2023, and backs quantum simulation startup Quantum Rings. Quantum is one theme among photonics, semiconductors and enterprise software, not a dedicated practice.
