Quantum portfolio reflects Austria's rising academic quantum strength: backed ZuriQ (ETH Zürich / IBM Zürich trapped-ion spin-out), Kipu Quantum (German digital-analog superconducting platform, co-invested alongside QAI Ventures) and QuantumDiamonds (NV-center magnetometry for biomedical imaging). Small fund size but focused conviction on Central European quantum academic spin-outs.
Value-add: tight links to Austrian Academy of Sciences (ÖAW) and IQOQI Innsbruck — one of Europe's most cited quantum research hubs (home to Anton Zeilinger's 2022 Nobel-winning lab); access to Vienna-Innsbruck-Zürich triangle technology transfer.
